Great stay at Rocky River Inn. The staff was friendly at checkin and helpful to answer our questions about the area. The room seemed to be recently redone with very comfortable beds, nice bathroom and working fridge. I would definitely stay here again.

Never got to stay here but....BEWARE OF HOTELS.COM-THEY STINK! Made a rez for 3 nights thru hotels.com, 830 am on feb 21 Received no confirm email or text by hotels.com, nothing telling me of reservation policies . at 130 pm, same day, realized they were not a pet- friendly place, ( my bad) and tried to cancel the reservation. Hotels.com said ZERO Refund, not even partial. How bad! I called the The Inn, said they have no control, bc Hotels.com rents people rooms without their knowledge or permission. ALSO- hotels .com charged my $140 night, Inn said room was $112/night, per the Inn/Rigo. Obviously will never rent a room thru Hotels.com or Expedia again!

This place is a hidden gem! Looks simple from the outside, but our room was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. Nice touches like beautiful modern decor and Aveda brand complimentary soap and shampoo make this a bit nicer than usual. …

I've stayed here half a dozen times. Great location. Very consistent. This stay I booked a 'deluxe' room which rivaled some 4 & 5 star properties I've stayed at. Very well appointed, room was spotless. Very quiet and bed very comfortable.

We loved our stay because our room was very clean. The river in back was nice. It was a beautiful location. Only down fall was no stores or restaurants nearby. But close by car. We will stay there again

It has a chill and unassuming exterior. The room I stayed in was recently renovated and was very relaxing - clean, well lit. Highly recommended. The easy access to downtown New Milford is appreciated. I needed a place that could get me to Lake Waramaug and this delivered.

I have stayed here half a dozen times and find this a very consistent property. Enjoyed a 'deluxe' room this trip and though the rooms have always been well appointed, this room rivaled many 4 and 5 star properties I've stayed at. Beds were very comfortable. Room was spotless. Office/lobby also very nice and clean. Front desk personnel not overly warm and friendly but this isnt a bnb and they are very efficient. Highly recommend.

We are staying here because it’s close to elephants trunk fleamarket. Our room is very fresh and clean feeling. I like the decor and that everything looks clean and new. Pricing is competitive, there are restaurants close by, and a Walmart in case you forget anything. I would recommend and will be back next time I’m here.

My daughter and I stayed here for the mother-daughter Gilmore Girls trip and I can't say enough good things. From the first moment of walking in the door, the view of the Housatonic River was breathtaking. The beds are gorgeous and so comfortable. The room is very spacious and relaxing. The little soaps provided are premium and smell so good. We will definitely be back. Also, the curtains are powered by a remote, the TV is huge and high quality, the lights are dimmable and create a great ambiance.
